Friday.
This is yesterday's report.
The weather was a mix of clouds and sunshine and surprisingly, considering the warnings of an approaching heat wave, with a cooling fresh breeze. A good day to walk some extra steps.
I didn't really take many pictures, though. The title card above shows what's left of the barley fields near the traintracks. I wasn't wrong when I guessed it was about time for the harvest a few days ago.
I mostly took that picture to document the pair of storks scavenging the barren field for... mice?!
They are quite shy and won't tolerate anyone getting closer than a stone's throw. A digital crop-in of the title image is the best I can do to help you see them better.
I didn't take any more pictures in the afternoon because I had a rather confusing encounter that felt weirdly familiar to me. It's a complicated story involving a Bulgarian worker, his Iranian handlers and the local police and it doesn't really fit into an actifit report at all. The gist of it is that it's painting a deeply depressing picture of the way our oh so civilized world works.
I'll show you my favourite pokemon instead. The confused look on its face makes me happy.
Thanks for your time!
