Tuesday.
This is another "yesterday" report.
The peak of the heatwave is here. In the afternoon the temperatures got close to 40°C (100+F).
I took a nice walk in the morning, it was already hot then, afterwards I stayed inside until the sun was setting again.
The morning in the forest was quite nice. Despite the heat, the atmosphere is always better in the woods.
I stumbled upon a pretty cluster of shrooms. They looked quite well formed from one side but actually they weren't at all.
Not body-shaming those shrooms, though. They look beautiful, silky smooth, creating a wonderful contrast to the fibrous cracking structure of the decaying wood they grow from.
