What a week it’s been.
-Two day long English Seminar created and implemented.
-Sign painting workshop attended.
-Altercation with rude old man at public pool.
-Arguments with children over summer vacation homework.
-Torrential rains and nearby flooding.
-Blistering heat.
-Possible exhibition meeting.
-Etc. Etc. Etc.
But that’s not why we’re here, is it? We’re here to talk about step counts and what it took us to get them. Well okay then, it took me a trip to the park this morning with a group of kids who are mad about bugs and hell bent on catching them.
So this is what we caught today, two preying mantises, four grasshoppers, a dragonfly, a couple of moths, and a butterfly. No, we didn’t take them all home, just the preying mantises and their meals, the grasshoppers.
