Lovely day for a walk at Apple Tree Bay - calmer than yesterday.

Blue mushroom caught my eye under a rock. Size a bit bigger than a quarter.

Next mushrooms are lot smaller (not up to penny size)

I have seen this orchid in two other locations at much higher altitude. These are 3 metres above the sea. They are super sensitive to disturbance and labellum disappears.

Dusk excitement was the sound of military helicopters doing circuits. This raises my heart rate as it reminds me of war zones I have lived in, like Cape Town 1978 or London in IRA times. They made 7 passes in all. I have never seen them do this.over Sydney suburbs.

The news this morning is it was dusk, water and residence training. Yeah right. Getting ready for insurrection.
