long and funny day in Maratea, a very beautiful place in Basilicata.
we arrived in Cala Jannita, a beach with vulcanic sand that appear black
.
weather was a little cloudy (with some rain drops) and was not bad because with the sun temperature became very high!
after lunch we had a walk in town to have an ice cream and then we went on top of the mountain to visit the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
the statue is 21 meters tall and is very impressive since the approach:
we had luck with weather, after the cloudy morning the sun appeared again and we had a great sight
some clouds give the illusion that the statue moves as noticed by people with great amazement
just to have an idea of the size:
look at the girl!
a place that deserve a trip.
