Today was Monday which was a good thing. I have Mondays off and seriously struggled to wake up. I’ve been burning my candle at both ends for a long time and it is catching up with me.
We needed to go to a local building supply today so that’s where we headed in the afternoon. When we came out, believe it or not, I found this little guy on the blacktop just at the side of the car.
It wasn’t a hot day at all, but blacktop is blacktop. I wasn’t sure he was alive and I wasn’t entirely convinced he was dead, so I moved him to the safety of one of the plant mounds in the parking lot. A very unusual color compared to what I usually see here.
After that, we headed to a nursery I had last visited about 3 years ago. They were a fledgling then, but oh my, how they have grown! It was a gardener’s paradise!
They are expecting 7 truckloads this week, so I plan to go back next weekend.
After that, we headed home and I made us coffees. We enjoyed those and then headed out to hike. I got my #win (10,000 before 10pm)
Actifit-Lamb decided today that she was going to climb a pine tree. Well, she actually chose a Canadian Hemlock, but that’s close enough I suppose. Check out her perch!
As we were coming back from Towhee Ridge, I found this #TinyTreasure.
I moved 3 snail babies in all today. 🐌😎
I’ve got lots more pics from today, but think I’ll save them for those rainy days when I end up pacing to get steps.
