Today was the first day in many weeks that we were not fully booked at the clinic. I was kind of shocked to say the least. As of close late this afternoon, we aren’t already fully booked for next week either, which is unusual. Then it dawned on me; it’s just over 2 weeks before Christmas! That’s when most folks refocus on the holiday and not on vision. The day after Christmas will be entirely opposite. They will realize they have insurance benefits that they haven’t used. Then it will be a race as to whether they can get it done before the end of the year!
I came home and enjoyed a mocha before going on our country roads nighttime hike. It was just @silvertop and me as Jan had other plans for the evening. It had stopped raining and was just cloudy and cold. Not that you could tell that cloudiness in the dark!
Once home, I commenced to cook dinner and we ate and watched a spot of TV.
