My Actifit Report Card: April 1 2021

Today was much like most of my Thursdays-not too busy but just enough to keep me from getting ahead. I had one patient in particular who came in to purchase glasses and asked me a lot of questions that she might should have been asking her doctor about. I’m happy to explain, keeping in mind, I am not a doctor.

Upon getting home, I fixed a coffee and then @silvertop and myself headed out for a short hike. Jan wasn’t able to come as she had prior commitments. We got about a quarter mile or so up the road when @silvertop’s phone rang. It was one of his childhood friends calling to tell us his younger brother had passed away from Covid. It’s hard to imagine him gone. I’ve known him forever although I didn’t grow up with him as @silvertop did, but we too had a long history of friendship. He would have given me the shirt off of his back if I’d needed it. He’s rescued me before when I was stranded miles from home due to car trouble and @silvertop was working second shift. There’s so much I could say about him but for now, I’ll leave it at this: Mike Graff-we will miss you! RIP my friend.

Consequently, our hike was even shorter than anticipated. Here’s a pic from a previous hike.

Cyle is goofy as he sleeps like this almost every night,lol. 😂
