Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
Today was work for me and it was a busy day! Mid afternoon found me with a patient who had insurance. I’d already done my research with the info given at the time the appointment was made. I came up with nothing. So when she came in, my coworker hadn’t gotten the info I needed from her at that point, so I started questioning her about her insurance. When I found out who her employer was, I knew which insurance to look up but also needed the last 4 of her social security number. She gave me the info; I took her chart for reference of her name and date of birth. I couldn’t find her online. So I called the automated system figuring I’d eventually get to a live person. However with date of birth and last four, it found her and asked me if the member’s name was such and such, to press one. That’s when I realized that the name that was taken by the other gal at the time the appointment was made, and that the name the gal wrote down herself on the demographics portion-neither was in fact her legal name as known by the insurance company! If you have insurance, give the providers you see your name as it appears on the card! Simple-right? One would think so! I also run into this with a lot of Medicaid patients as well as those who have more than a first, a middle and a last name. I’ve gotten pretty good at ferreting out info but there are just some days!🙄
It has tried to snow all afternoon and it’s cold and honestly, I spent so much time outside in the cold the past two days, that I feel a bit over exposed. So I began trying to wash up a big pot of several that need washing after our syrup adventure. I don’t have a stationery tub, so it makes washing big items a chore.
Here’s a pic from a previous hike for some eye candy.
Tomorrow brings me two frame reps at work-two of my favorite actually. The Maui Jim rep and a local frame rep from a local frame producer, Cascadia. Both gals are awesome 😎
That’s gonna be it for now. Hoping tomorrow is more interesting than today was, lol! Take care! 👣🐑☕️🤗😇😴

Quizá me anime a redactar 🤔.
Un gran abrazo.
