My brother asked me to bake bread for his wedding that is taking place this weekend. I am writing this from the wedding venue where everything is taking place. After eating some of the bread and enjoying the festivities, I am writing this post about the day’s baking and gardening. I am reflecting as always about nature, oud role in nature and our part in this bigger scheme of things. In this post, I reflect on baking and general life. I also share photographs of my garden alongside my baking.
Baking 20+ Breads For a Wedding
This morning at 7am I woke up to bake bread for my brother’s wedding. Normally bakers get up at 3am. Luckily I am not a baker at the moment. As a favour I baked 20 odd loaves of ciabatta breads for him. Here are just some photographs from that tedious process.
(I call this the baker’s breakfast. Freshly baked bread and various spreads including indigenous plants honey. So good, I wish I could share!)
I hope everyone is active and safe. Keep well.
