My Stay European Member card 🌍😊 : February 8th 2021

Hey everybody, 🙋

Yesterday I received my 'Stay European' membership card in the mail. As a British citizen who has been a European all her life and who has lived mainly on the continent, this membership is paramount! 🌍

I was born in the UK, but left for Greece when I was 9, my formative years were spent there, then in my early 20's I moved briefly to France and since I've settled in Southern Spain for the last 24years! As you can imagine I feel European and despise having had my rights stripped from me by the Brexit election in 2016. Although I have to have a valid British passport at all times to prove my identity, I was not allowed to vote like the other million or so British living on the continent; basically we had no say in the matter! 😡

The effects of Brexit are destroying the economy and the freedom of the people, so with this 'Stay European ' initiative, thousands of us are fighting to regain our rights! 💪😉

Hopefully, we will return to the EU soon or at least regain our European citizenships! 😊
