My Actifit Report Card: March 27 2020

in hive-193552 •  5 years ago

Late this morning I drove to a nearby large shopping center and spent some time walking around. It was interesting observing the effects from lot's of restrictions on the community. Around half the shops were closed and not many people about. And more shops will be closed tomorrow from what I can gather from the news.

I found some very rare item's while out shopping..

Has been a couple of weeks since I have seen toilet paper available to purchase 😱.

And yes I bought one pack as that is the limit anyhow 👍.

Hopefully you have enough tp to get by.

I expect toilet paper will be on sale when this crisis is over. Lots of people playing it down today. They will probably go back into panic mode soon but it's nice to have a bit of optimism.

Hi there

I've been reading through many comments related to new hive chain and I've seen your comment too. Many users are being torn, however majority seem to be moving to new hive.

Are you fully moving there or will you stay on both chains? Just curious. I'm trying to figure out what to do myself.

I'm moving to Hive. Powering down almost all of my Steem. I'll keep some but only because there's a chance that Justin will get some hype going. Steem as a social media platform is dead to me, as its now controlled by one entity and steemit is being censored. There's going to be some FUD about Hive but I know the devs and witnesses there are going to deliver, unlike what we experienced with Steem.

Big Thx for your reply. I think i will stick around on both chains for time being.

I also figured that you may find this post interesting and worth your time:
https://steemit.com/hive-175254/@project.hope/project-hope-curation-trail-on-both-chains-steem-and-new-hive

It's post published by good friend of mine and I'm helping him to promote their curation trail.

I'm in the same boat, but as time goes by, I find myself more and more disappointed in the witnesses who asked for our support so that they could make the fork. Since then, I find that all they promised is not true (according to what I saw in SteemPeak). Originally, when asking for our votes, they said, if we move over, they will trnsfer our data (or copy it, I suppose) and whatever we have in our wallets, Steem, SP BD, we would get the same amount in the new token. Now I see we must buy an account and buy tokens if we want any there.

Why then should I bother to move there so as to continue to experience the same shit as here?

Also, it seems the blockchain is not as it was touted...that our data exists on it forever. If it is very difficult to access it, it is the same as it no longer exists.

Arthur, your Hive posts are all here and you have a wallet with Hive in it https://hive.blog/@arthur.grafo13

Looks like Gold to me. :)

Just came here to check that you still have your steemit account. Are you stopping?

@j85063 - Sorry - my comment was meant to be from this account :)

Ask him over at Hive :)

I asked him...because I did not know how to get there, so the answer was not as obvious as you thought.

I am told many posts were made, but since things were changed so that I no longer would get a feed of the new posts, but would be shown my own posts after I make a post, I never saw any of those posts. I guessed there must have been some, but I was not going to spend hours scrolling back in time to find one, so I asked a friend.

It is one of the things I dislike about these platforms, when a personal comment is made to a friend, everyone thinks they have a right to cut in - without their comment being a friendly attempt to help. Yet, if they were talking with a friend at a coffeeshop and I cut in, I would be told to F* off.

Sorry, I let my anger with another (arrogant) poster spill over. Your reply was an attempt to help and I should not have ranted.
