Did the shopping this morning and after that I traveled to a friend's place on the other side of Brisbane to help find out why there car is intermittently stopping.
After much checking and head scratching finally found a fuse link that had a fracture in it. I didn't notice it with an inspection at first as it wasn't blown and the fracture was not very visible.
In this picture below the fuse link on the left is the faulty one. I have already pushed this one apart and it's still somewhat hard to see.
So as the engine bay heat's up at some point with expansion happening the fuse pulls apart and completely shuts down the vehicle. Not even the hazard warning lights would work and this makes for a very dangerous situation when stopped in an inconvenient place on busy roads 😵
Being to late this evening I will go and buy the replacement fuse tomorrow.
It doesn't take much to stop a vehicle from working.
Take care and chat later 😃
