I was up North in the Haliburton Highlands this weekend. It was chilly and pouring rain. Sitting around in the cabin would not do so I rucked up and headed to the trails.
There's an old train route that has been turned into an ATV, biking, hiking trail that runs from one town to another.
The terrain varies from undulating soft sand bars to rocks to river wash out (not actually a feature but a reality with all the rain.) It runs parallel to a fast moving river that transacted it and wash it out at about 7k in.
At about that point I had to turn around as there was no way bypass the river wash out.
No matter what you do. Keep moving, keep healthy and stay safe. And when you are done take some time to relax and wind down.
