Before I tell you about this new Iron Maiden song, I'll tell you my activity for the day. Actually I mostly rested from yesterday's water volleyball. But then I got active around the house and took a long walk after it stopped raining.
That's a screenshot from near the end of the new Iron Maiden video for their new song The Writing On The Wall. That's maybe Adam and Eve receiving an apple from Eddie the devil as he drives his 666 mobile out of town.
The song starts off sounding like a New Country song to me. We know it's Maiden when the vocals kick in.
A sweet guitar solo starts around 3:45 in, reminding me of Feel Like Making Live by Bad Company. Then I hear some Trollhammaren phasing from the start of that Fintroll song.
After that, we're about back to seeing Adam and Eve in the video. At the end the nukes are exploding and we don't know how it ends. Or maybe its the beginning. Maybe they are kicked out of the Garden with no hope of return, and then we know the story that starts with that Genesis...
