After several fails, the team at continuum.world released the page on their website where one could buy land for their future game. Unfortunately they didn't tell people very well. Maybe this was done on purpose to avoid overloading their system which happened on their last try.
In any case I became aware that the land sale was on, and eventually had time to go there and get a land. I had planned to buy only one anyway, but I hoped to get the best kind, a 5 star land. By the time I could get there the best available was 3 star. I bought what I think is a very good 3 star land. We'll see how it works out when and if the team actually releases the game.
One good thing is that this land cost me half of what I was willing to pay for a 5 star land. I really don't have much invested in Continuum World and I hope it works out well for everyone but it's not a big deal for me either way.

It seems good to me that they have done it that way, since that way the system does not collapse. The best thing is that you realized and bought at half price. The same to you, happy start to the week.
