My Actifit Report Card: February 26 2020

I had a pretty exciting day today. I went disc golfing in the morning with a couple of buddies. I played pretty well and felt like my putting was doing a bit better than usual and I scored a 56 or two over par for the eighteen baskets.

The e-bike ride down and back from the course was nice. The weather was just a bit cold but not frosty in the morning without much wind.

A bunch of the park service employees were out cleaning up fallen branches on the course and removing the large fallen tree I showed in previous reports.

When I got home I saved a couple of bites of lunch for Dog-oh and plunked them down in the kitchen for him. I could here him out in the kitchen muttering to himself, "Toenail cutters, we don't need no stinking toenail cutters."

Followed by and odd RIP noise and then, "Hmm, I bleeding."

I didn't think much of it and went back to enjoying my reading.

Then I heard him over by the door making lick, lick, likity, lick,... noises.

Better investigate... Blood all over the house. I followed the blood trail to the kitchen where there was a rather impressive puddle.

I thought I had better rush him down to the vet. It had mostly stopped bleeding on its own by the time I got him there and Dog-oh had done the job of removing the nail in its entirety so the vet didn't have to do to much besides bandage it up and start him an antibiotics.

Looks like Dog-oh will be just fine and the house is nearly back to normal after some lengthy cleaning.

Meanwhile, all the orchids have flowers opened up. They all have slight differences in coloring. This one is almost solid purple:

One of the orchids has the same purple color with a little white line on the edge and another is more orange in color. Here's a view of all three:

They have kind of taken over my laptop table but that's okay because I don't use that much and can find space on my desk for the laptop.

I managed to put a disc into the river today but it was close enough to the edge so I could get it back. I couldn't play it from the water so I took a penalty stroke on that one.
