My Actifit Report Card: December 8 2022

I did a bit of disc golf practice putting and walked down to the park. I also fixed the toilet.

I signed up for a disc golf tournament on Saturday so I think I'll just rest up a bit and do some shorter putts until then. That's really what I need to practice the most right now. It has been a bit rainy and cold so I'm not sure how things will go but it is always fun and good practice to be in a tournament.

The toilet tank was leaking down the overflow tube but not making any noise. I'm not sure how fast the flow was but I think the fix should save some water. I had to replace both of the assemblies in the tank because when I tried to replace the float the plastic on the overflow pipe was so brittle that it broke. It almost seemed like it was already cracked from the previous installation but who knows?

The kit for replacing everything in the toilet tank cost about the same as the kit that replaced just the water shutoff. I think it was a good idea to replace everything based on how brittle the other part was. It might not have lasted too much longer even if I was more careful.

There was an interesting lighting effect in the clouds around the moon yesterday night.
