Another month has passed and it is time to review my progress so far with my goals set for this year as part of the #hasil2020 challenge hosted by @davidke20 and @victoria-bella.
Here is a recap of my targets for 2020 from my earlier post and my current progress:
Earning targets
1: Initial target: To reach 2000 SP by end of November 2020
Status: Achieved
End of Mar 2020: my SP is 2015 and HP is 2017 including delegated SPs and HPs.
End of Apr 2020: my SP is 2066 and HP is 2273 including delegated SPs and HPs.
My updated target:
To reach 2500 HP by November 2020
which means, by July 2020, I hope to reach 2250 HP but looks like I have surpassed my July 2020 target! :) I am on my way to 2500 HP!
2: Post at least once everyday
Status: Achieved
I posted everyday, even in my lousiest mood or littlest time.
I hope to continue posting daily in 2020.
Health-for-well-being targets
3: Workout at minimum 2 times a week, 30 minutes each time >> whether on land or in water.
Status: Missed
I have not been able to do this. The most workout I am able to do these days or have the energy for is house chores.
4: Achieve 50K steps every week
Status: Achieved
My weekly step counts in the month of April has been above 50K although the count is not as good as March.
Mar 30-Apr 5: 65,064
Apr 6-12: 65,360
Apr 13-19: 53,887
Apr 20-26: 57,893
5: Less junkfood
Status: Achieved
As I continue to stay home everyday since the partial lockdown mid of March, I am good in this department because there is no junk food to tempt me at all :)
Hobbies-for-the-soul targets
6: Needlework
Status: Achieved
I have been sharing my needlework projects every week in the NeedleWorkMonday community and eventhough my sewing machine is in coma currently, I have been exploring hand sewing and knitting.
7: Music - To learn to play the keyboard this year - at the very least, to learn to play 1 song.
Status: In progress
I managed to practice an hour on the keyboard in April. Still far from a full song but practise, practise, practise is key. Memorizing power is needed here too and I need to focus.
8: Art - To get back to my amateur drawing and colouring this year - I am setting myself a target of 1 artwork per half yearly.
Status: Missed
I have yet to start on this. Disappointing yes but I am not going to be too hard on myself. Art requires mood and I can feel it coming soon.
9: Baking - I set myself 1 baking every half yearly.
Status: Achieved
I am so happy that I have been baking in April. I have attempted butter buns (or most recipe call this as dinner rolls) twice and brownie twice, not too successful but still edible :D
Conclusion
In April, I achieved 6 goals, in progress with 1 goal and missed 2 goals. I believe that consistency is key and I hope to continue achieving my goals on a monthly basis and start working on my art in May.
There is power in writing things down.
I am grateful for this challenge because for the first time, I am in touch with my goals for the year and am motivated to move myself to work towards my goals. Thank you @davideke20 and @victoria-bella!
