Over the weekend I took the train from Aachen to Koblenz to visit some friends. We spent the evening making clay cups and we baked and glazed some pottery made last time. At the house they had a big pottery oven which we ran over night. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the end results of our bake. But take my word, thy were pretty nice!
The next day we woke up to a winter wonderland! The whole valley was covered in snow. Here’s the view from the kitchen:
Later in the day we drove to the mosel river to enjoy the white magic even more. We did a hike up an down the mosel valey:
It was nice to enjoy some cold temperatures again!
All in all a good weekend.
