This morning I went for a 24.26 kms run in preparation for the 45 kms trail run I’m entered in next month. I’m not where I’d like to be with my training but I’m feeling reasonably good and the main thing will be to try and enjoy myself on the day (at least for the first half). I’m resigned to the fact that I will need to be stopping for regular walking breaks to catch my breath. I’m not going to kill myself! The terrain will be difficult so I’m aiming to complete the course in somewhere between 5 to 6 hours.
I spotted a couple of roos at the half-way mark.
I also mowed the lawns today and walked in to town to pick up a few groceries.
