Pokemonsters and Splintermonsters… oh my!

It’s been very difficult for me to get out and go for walks lately, not for any reason other than my own laziness. Today I forced myself outside while there was a brief “heatwave” to 50 degrees F and quite a bit of sunshine.

I went out for about an hour and caught a bunch of Pokémon and got a good shot of one by a sandy beach portion of the park.

After work I spent some time with my Splintermonsters and am preparing for the current set of brawls. In a few days I’ll post my next @splinterlands #brawlreport, but for now I’ll share an awesome battle I had.

I really love the Lava Launcher card, although I usually pair it with a Yodin summoner to get an extra range power and life point, plus the awesome blast ability. In this case I had a Cerberus up front with his healing ability and Efreet Elder in the last position with Last Stand ability. This lineup seemed ready to dominate.

Unfortunately my opponent had a Void monster up front so any +1 magic attack was worthless. Thankfully they had a lot of range monsters in the. can and became useless when they arrived in the first position. My Ant Miners card also became more powerful over time as each monster on the field died.

This victory was a sweet one!
