Silvertop was hiking alone today, and I was checking out this very tall Western Red Cedar!
I rounded the bend, and I saw one of my neighbors Kate staring at the tree line.🤔
Look close at the second photo ………
Adam her husband was high up in one of these trees,hanging by climbing ropes!😳
Kate said she was the “Ground Crew”!
Adam knows what he is doing, I might need him sometime to drop one of my trees that could be a danger!
Not Silvertop’s forte, Lol!!😅
Interesting that he is now using an electric chainsaw, I guess not having to climb with a running chainsaw is a good improvement!😇
I figured I better hike onward, and not distract him!
When I was almost at Towhee Ridge, I ran into Adam’s Mother hiking on a deep Forest trail by herself.
I let he know her son was working “IN” a tree down below!😊
I was thinking that she should not be hiking alone, Cougars are in these Mountains!
