This is due to the city being located on the eastern coast of Vietnam, which gets more moisture during this time of the year. Additionally, there are three major monsoons that pass through the city during this period. The first major monsoon occurs around May and June. A few weeks later, there is a second major monsoon called 'pak pak.' Finally, pak pa k comes a month later and passes through the city at a faster pace. In addition to major monsoons, there are also smaller rains that add to the seasonal precipitation total.
