After a couple of days of snow in the forecast, Old Man Winter finally decided to make an appearance (albeit it didnt amount to much).
There were a few flakes of snow in the air for our morning walk but other than damp roads it amounted to nothing. The snow flurries came and went quickly and we finished our walk under sunny skies.
My legs were better today although I wasn't interested in pushing a fast pace as my 100 miler is just over 2 weeks away and I just want to keep up decent mileage and not over extend myself and head to the race with fatigued legs.
3 miles looping on the flat roads and then it was onto the dirt field for the rest of my miles. On and off flurries made the run interesting even if I had to wear a fleece jacket and running pants.
I finished with just over 7 slower miles but felt good and then enjoyed a nice hour under my sauna blanket.
Lulu finally got to enjoy at least a little time in the snow with a couple of miles at Lynx Lake.
Snow is falling as I write my report but hopefully tomorrow will be clear.
