Hello, dear friends, this is Ajay from Chennai. I hope you are all doing well. This blog is about my participation in the Steemit Engagement Challenge S7W3: Drawing my photo contest which is organised by @hive-193637. Thankyou for conducting a creative Contest. After knowing the theme of the contest, I can't wait to participate because I love to draw, so here is my participation blog.

I started with flower because it is the center of the picture.

Then I draw stems for the flowers.

Here I completed 50% of drawing where a rough work of picture is done.

Here I did some shading work and put margins for finishing along with my signature.

The photo was snapped during COVID-19 lockdown. I was at my native place, and I'm jobless, so I click photographs often with my mobile. One morning I woke up and had a view of Jasmine with fog, so I clicked it. My grandmother loved this picture. Whenever I see this Jasmine picture, it reminds me of my lockdown life, where I was happy by doing silly things and gaming.

I'm confessing that this is my 5th attempt at drawing this jasmine. It takes approximately 30 minutes. I just observed the picture and started to draw so that I could replicate the picture by drawing.

In the beginning, I thought drawing a jasmine flower was easy when compared to drawing a portrait, but it became a challenge. After four attempts, I completed this artwork. The leaves around the jasmine are more difficult to draw than I thought. I can't make proper repilaca art of jasmine because of the leaves. Then the shading part made the art come to life.
