nce upon a time in the life of a steemian, an opitome of humility and influence. He doesn't find pleasure in doing things all by himself, to himself and for himself. He ensured others are carried along. Finding a platform called steemit has been a life changing opportunity for him as well as others who joined through him. The people he mentored became one big family he'll always cherish.

As a way of encouraging his Steemian friends to thrive on the platform, he and some others thought of coming up with a meet up, a Steemian meet-up/hangout. This young man's name is @bossj23.

After making plans and provisions to carryout this meetup with contributions set aside for other items that would be refreshing to the body, he set out that fateful day with his Steemian friends who resides in his city, Uyo. If was the first time we were doing such activity and it was going to be a massive one where words of encouragements would be shared and we'll get to know other better.

We boarded two cars down to the venue of which we were lucky one of the drivers is a Steemian. Bills were paid for the transportation fare to one of the most expensive hotels in their city called 5 Star Hotel, Lemeridien. This hotel is actually one of the hotels seen so far. On alighting from the vehicles, they took to taking group photographs for memories sake before entering the hotel major.

The hotel's entrance is one in a million and we took to making ourselves comfortable first in their couch before heading for exploration. The fields displayed naturalness and the weather was as clement and good for taking that in-breath. With our steemit vibes, we took lots of photographs. @bossj23 and friends did lot of photographing which followed the order.

After photographing, we took ourselves to an unending journey, a journey led by no your guide, a journey we'll always live to remember. This journey was in this hotel, a trail blaze that had no end. We took to see nature ourselves right from the trees to the flowers and lot more.

Bossj23 saw an eagle for the first time which happens to be reared in their nursery. The road to visiting their wildlife was too far a place and besides, we didn't know where our aims were as we did so without a tour guide.

After doing the natural exploration ourselves, we took to finding their marina as we heard it wasn't far off the place itself. This journey to finding marina was almost an unending and tiring journey as we did so on foot. It was more than 30 minutes trek but since it were a group stroll, i didn't really feel the pain. We trekked like our lives depended on it and also took some photographs as well.

The contemplation of going back to the hotel after trekking that far came on board but I dismissed that thought because it was more like giving up. We finally reached the Marina. My joy was just so profound. We took to the explore section of this marina which is their river and then boom, we took photos

After exploring the marina section, we took to doing what brought us together. Bossj23 was the host and did more of the talking as he has much better experiences on steemit than others. The meet-up was made lively with fun games and lots more. Money was spent on refreshments and the likes.

Going back home was another unending journey. We took to trekking down as we didn't see a bus to board. Finally, a bus was seen. We hopped into the vehicle and I headed to where we would eat food. Entering one of these big malls spoke volumes till we done and whine and left the place, still maintaining the original purpose of why we were there.

The fun and created moments were the best I've seen so far. Steemit brought us together, steemit united us. It was a meetup to remember, a meetup that spur the lackadaisical attitude of some steemians. The journey to academic development and financial stability is this journey we decided to embark on steemit.

It's either we stay or we stay. The journey is unending just like the unending trails we saw in the hotel. I didn't know those unending trails meant something important. That lesson was learnt by @bossj23, me, the writer of the story and his friends.
