"Memories are always carried in the heart"

Hi! steemian I suppose you are fine as I am over here. I want to share with you some special memories of my life.

The three (3) special moments in my life that I will always carry in my heart.

The day my wife put to bed (our first child) Children are blessings from God and whenever a child is born, the parents and relations celebrate especially when it's their first child. On 7/10/2017. We welcomed our first child Mirabel but her birth came with mixed fillings for me. On this day, my wife had a prolonged labour. We went to the hospital in the morning and she was put to bed around 9:00 pm. She had several tears because the child was big and stitches were carried out on her.
Five hours later 2:00 am to be precise my wife started bleeding uncontrollably. The situation throws us into confusion. The nurses on duty quickly checked on her and discovered that she had a second-degree tear and they did not stitch the inner tear which caused the bleeding. They immediately rushed her to the theatre, carried out the stitches and demanded two pounds of blood. I called a friend immediately whose blood was screened and transfused to my wife. Honestly speaking I thought my wife would die as a result of the bleeding which happened at an odd hour. I will never forget this day.

The day I lost my father

The saddest moment of my life. My father a strong, active, promising and loving became sick, admitted to several hospitals but eventually died in November 2000 at Alushi Medical Centre. That faithful morning, I was with him in the hospital when he started struggling and eventually died. I cried as thou I would never cry again. I felt I had lost everything in my life knowing fully that none of my siblings was working. These two questions run through my mind:

• How do we survive
• who will pay my school fees

This makes me cry out the more and truly I have to struggle through life to be what I am today.

My wedding day

10/12/2016 was the day I got wedded. The memories of this day are still fresh in my mind. Friends, neighbours, family members and church members came out in their numbers to celebrate with us. Some of my wedding guests were not even invited by me. My inlaws came from a distance to show their support for the wedding. They all gave their support in kind and cash. What gladdens me the most is my wife who was the reason for the celebration. This day is too special for me
