I readily agree with the statement that there is no small achievement, everything is celebrated. I for one, I believe in celebrating my little wins no matter how small it is. And this is because celebrating our little wins is one of the ways to build our self confidence.

Let me explain how this happens when you celebrate your daily achievements or wins no matter how small it is. It is one of the ways to appreciate yourself. There is a message it sends to your subconscious being as well your surroundings, that is, your audience. It tells your subconscious being that you are making progress. This helps to build your confidence and encourages you to do more. To your audience, it makes them build trust and confidence in you.

The evidence of what we do is what people are always interested to see. So, we need to give them enough evidence. But, when we hide the evidence we have, how will they know?
The connection we seek is in what people know us for. So it's good to let the world know what we are capable of doing. I mean, they are not in spirit to know that we have successfully completed a course, task or project. So it is by celebrating these things that they get to know. And with this knowledge, they start to see us differently, and if a need arises for recommendations then they will go ahead to do so.

There are a lot of things to celebrate in our lives; these include successfully completing a difficult task or course, buying new furniture, promotion, new jobs, recommendations, etc.

Apart from the few things mentioned above, we need to celebrate when we leave a toxic relationship and when we forgive someone wholeheartedly is also worth celebrating.

But most of these celebrations do not require open air announcements. For some that do require it, then we mustn't withhold it.

I remember when I successfully completed a writing course online, I celebrated myself by posting it on social media and friends celebrated with me. This led to them recognizing me as a writer and came to me when they needed help in that aspect.

There are different ways to celebrate our wins, it all depends on what will give us the pleasure we need. Some people, after completing a difficult task, reward themselves by buying their favourite meal or drink.

Some take themselves out or go on a vacation. It all boils down to what works for us.

The process of always celebrating our little wins is what slowly builds our self-confidence. So, it's good to take some time to reflect on our accomplishments and remember that small wins are still won.
