SEC-S18-W3: "Carta a mi padre"//"Letter to my father".

Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this season of engagement challenge. Today I choose to write a very emotional theme of this week which is about writing a letter to father .

Dear Dad,
Assalamu alaikum,

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirit. I have been wanting to write you a letter for quite a long time now, but I think Father’s Day is the best occasion to pen down my feelings into words. Although I have always felt and appreciated the love, sympathy, and kindness that you have poured into me since my childhood, ever since I became a father myself, my love for you has deepened because I am now experiencing the sacrifices that parents undergo for their children.

Although I am grown up now and a father myself, I still remember those days of my childhood when I was in primary school. You used to come home tired after your long and hectic duty schedule and help me complete my homework. I remember how you used to give me dictations for translation from one language to another, which helped me learn English from my childhood. I cannot forget the days when you used to get ready for duty and also bathe me when Mom was busy with household chores. The reason behind mentioning these childhood memories is that I want to convey a message to you: I have no words to express my gratitude for your innumerable sacrifices, unwavering support, love, kindness, and empathy. It is because of these things that these childhood memories remain so vivid in my mind.

Dear Dad, you have been a source of inspiration and a role model for me. You have taught me precious life lessons like honesty, hard work, dedication, and perseverance. It is because of these values that I imbibed from you that I have grown up as a mature and responsible adult, father, and employee. I believe I have become a responsible and supportive partner by witnessing the kindness and support you have always offered my mother. Your guidance on social issues, such as my responsibilities towards relatives, neighbors, and society, has helped me grow as a conscious and progressive human being in my community.

Dear Dad, I deeply admire and thank you for your countless sacrifices for us in every possible aspect, despite facing hardships in different areas of life. You never deprived me of any facility, even if it meant putting yourself in trouble for me. I remember how, despite your strained financial condition, you never let me feel financially stressed, especially when it came to my studies.

Dear Dad, I remember and thank you for the guidance you offered during my adolescence when I was grappling with various issues. I remember how you helped me navigate the turbulent waters of my life during my childhood, adolescence, and even now. I have been trying to emulate the maturity, discipline, compassion, perseverance, and hard work that I have seen in you.

Dear Papa, I’ll conclude by expressing my gratitude to you for inculcating countless values and beliefs in my life that have helped shape my life. I owe all my success to you.
