Do you know why butterflies sit on flowers?
⭕Today's content
Today I will present something about these beautiful butterflies. If you don't know, I encourage you to read and find out.
The wings of this butterfly are quite long and wide. They are very attractive to look at. They are always seen roaming on flowers, grass, flying. Their body is divided into three parts: thorax, head and abdomen. They gather fruit from flowers and have eyes on their wings. There are about a hundred eyes in each place. Can't see clearly like humans, see dimly.
🌞Butterfly breeding
They first lay eggs on the leaves of the tree, from the eggs it turns into a cutworm. This cutworm grows by eating the leaves of the tree. Once it stops eating, it covers the body with a cotton-like covering on the tree branch. When the coating comes out after tasting it, it becomes a butterfly 🦋. When a butterfly is born, its body does not change as long as it lives.
🌞Species and structures
There are about 18 thousand butterflies in the country of butterflies in this world but about 326 are found in Bangladesh. The largest butterfly in Bangladesh is the Common Beardley, and the smallest is the Tiny Royal Blue. Butterflies can't see more than 17 feet away, just like humans can't see ultraviolet light, but these butterflies can see just fine.
🌞 Butterfly feeding process
Butterflies have no teeth and no stingers. Because of this they cannot attack the enemy and that is why they are called very harmless animals. They can climb many miles but they don't live long they die very quickly. If they don't have teeth, how will they eat? They have a needle-like tube on their head through which they collect food. They cannot eat solid food as they have no teeth. Butterflies don't always eat flower honey, they eat human sweat, plant juice, leaf juice, liquid food.
🌞Butterfly weather
These butterflies cannot move in extreme cold when tree branches and stones hang over them. Their body temperature is thought to be 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. But they perform normally at 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. During the day when the sun rises they fly in fan fairs and provide body heat. When butterflies' habitats become cold, their bodies become cold and they are unable to move.
🌞Why are butterflies disappearing?
These butterflies are almost extinct in our country. This is due to the lack of specific food for the butterfly. All the environment and food they need is completely disappearing from our Bangladesh. Sisters are being burned, pesticides are being used on trees, brick kilns are being used to generate heat, and these beautiful butterflies are almost becoming extinct due to our own filth.
Hello @jakaria121 friend, I have also observed fewer butterflies in the gardens in my city, I think it is due to pollution or the high temperatures in my area, previously around this time we could see abundant butterflies anywhere.
