How I wish I knew that I would be earning my daily bread as a crypto trader and a content writer today. I would have listened to my friends when they first introduced me to cryptocurrencies in 2017.

As of early 2017, I went back to school to continue my education after my 1-year industrial training. Everyone in my department was sent to do industrial training so as to put what we have learned in the classroom into practice. During my industrial training, I made good money, but I never thought of investing my money into something that would give interest; instead, I was busy spending my money on school politics that only lasted for a year.

My friends introduced me to the crypto industry and advised me to join them, but I never listened to them and instead began procrastinating and calling them scammers. As good friends, they promised to teach me both crypto and forex trading for free. I never took all of what they were telling me seriously until I found myself doing the same things that I had neglected and even insulted the people who tried to help me do in 2017.

Ooh, I feel like I'm crying, because if I had followed the advice they gave me today, I would have been a very rich guy, because then I would have had the money to buy up to 5 bitcoins, but I don't. Instead, I was busy buying material things and contesting for director of finance in student union government (SUG) politics, which I didn't win.

As of 2021, I couldn't hold myself when the price of Bitcoin was trading around $50,000 to $65,000, compared to around $800 when it was first introduced to me. In the same year that my friends who were telling me about cryptocurrency traveled abroad for a blockchain seminar, as it stands today, they're happily married with kids and enjoying themselves abroad while their businesses here in Nigeria are still fetching them money.

Inclusion, I lost the opportunity to become a multi-millionaire in my early 20s due to procrastination, failing to listen to the advice of my friends, and not thinking about the future.

Moral Lesson:

Don't neglect anyone or any business that is introduced to you by your friends because it might be a life-changing business for you. Avoid procrastination and take action by learning how to take risks. Don't think you know everything because one little mistake can jeopardize your life from becoming great.

It's understandable that we sometimes overlook opportunities presented to us by friends or acquaintances, but it's important to keep an open mind and consider their advice. We can learn a lot from others, and sometimes they may see something we don't. It's never easy to look back and reflect on missed opportunities, but your story can serve as an inspiration to others.

That is what am regretting today. I really appreciate your time here. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Everything occurs according to our luck. Forget about the past. Make an effort to fulfill your goals because you are capable of doing so. Good luck with the contest my dear friend.

Smiles, quite touching but at the same time you dint have to blame yourself much. Many didn't know the value of cryptos as at that time. It was only hybrid risk takers who already made their mind.
However, anytime we start is our time.
Thanks for sharing... Good luck

Thank you for your support.

Saludos amigo

Creo que todo en la vida tiene su momento, quizás el 2017 no era el tuyo pero no debes lamentarte ya viviste lo que te tocaba vivir. Pero nunca es tarde para empezar a creer en el negocio de las criptomonedas.

Procrastination I would say is the key cause of many failed businesss and ventures, I have learnt to take things more serious now, because opportunities do no usually occur the second time.
