Steemit Engagement Challenge: My Steemit Friends That I Want To Meet by @jueco

Hurray!!!

I am so glad that there's a nice replacement for the crypto academy tasks that just ended.
And I feel so honored to be among the participants of the steemit engagement challenge.

This contest requires me to tell about the friends that I met on steemit and those I wish to meet.

Before I proceed into this contest, I'll love us to understand what it actually mean to be a friend.

WHO'S A FRIEND

A friend can be explained to be someone who has genuine affection for you and trusts you.
A friend is someone you can comfortably confide in, someone you tell your secrets, someone that rejoices with you, cries with you and help you bear your pain.

A friend is someone that accepts you for who you are and doesn't use your weakness against you.

The above said is my opinion of who a friend truly is.

As human differs so does the definition of a good friend differ.
And even with the difference in definition of a friend, a true friend always posseses some unique qualities that help Identify them.

Whenever a survey is carried out on what people say a true friend is, their answers usually boil down to some certain unique quality, some of which are:

• Communication
• Presence
• Loyalty
• Trustworthiness

COMMUNICATION:
Communication can be explained to be a process whereby individuals pass information to one another.

Most solid friendship are built on constant communication, and without communication, it is quite impossible to make and keep a friend.

PRESCENCE:
A good friend is one that is always there for you whenever you need them, be it in your time of grief or rejoicing.
He is always there in your time of need.

LOYALTY:
This is another unique quality that a good friend posseses. True friends are always honest with you, always ready to caution and correct you when you are wrong.

Sadly, many individuals surround themselves with friends that tell them only what they want to hear, but a good friend will tell you things you need to hear, be it favourable or not.

TRUSTWORTHINESS:
This is another factor that determines how long a friendship can last.
A true friend is one that can be trusted, one that fulfils his promise, even when it is bad for him.

Having considered this few qualities of a true friend, I now proceed to explain a true friend that I met on steemit, the person of Onyemauwa Amarachi Precious, with the username @ladyofpolicy.

@ladyofpolicy happens to be one of the most industrious female steemian I know.

HOW DID I MEET HER

When an individual is unique, hardworking, diligent, consistent and smart on the steemit platform, there is possibly no way such an individual won't be noticed, and this is what happened to @ladyofpolicy

What actually attracted me to @ladyofpolicy was the rate at which she grew on the steemit platform.
Her consistency was something I admired a lot.

As I rightly said, I met her on steemit, @steemalive community to be precise.
She was given a role as Umuahia city coordinator, which happened to be the city I schooled in.

Although many applications for the role as Umuahia city coordinator was submitted on steemalive community, but her application was outstanding and she was appointed.
This thus ignited my curiosity to find out who she is in a person.

Through diligent research, I found out that she is one of the most hard-working lady on steemit, to the extent that I call her the steemit goddess

Being my city coordinator, she organized us, [her team mates] so well that we outperformed other cities.

WHAT I ADMIRE ABOUT HER

Truth be told, I have been looking for a unique way to tell her how great of a person she is, and thanks to this contest, I can now let her know things I admire about her, they are as follows:

• HER LOVE FOR STEEMIT:

The love of @ladyofpolicy for steemit is so outstanding, I have never met anyone so fund of steemit as she is.
She converts every single detail of her life to words and post them on steemit.

Despite several of her post paying out without support, she didn't give up, she kept working hard

This reminds me of our steemit promotion roadshow together

She was so vibrant when telling people about steemit, she worked so hard that we flattered her that her life depended on the roadshow.

She really displayed the quality of a good leader and friend.

• HER KIND WORDS AND ENCOURAGEMENT:

Another quality I admire the most about this good friend of mine is how gracious her words her.

She knows the right words to say and at the right time

I had just engaged on a roadshow in her absence, she didn't yell at me, instead she commended me and even recommended my post for support.

Her soothing words was what I needed that instant, and I got it.
She indeed is a friend.

• HER INDUSTRIOUSNESS:

@ladyofpolicy is a very industrious lady, she makes at least 2-3 quality posts per day.
She is never tired to post on steemit, and this is one quality that has been driving me too.

• HER LIFESTYLE:

Another quality that attracted me to this wonderful friend of mine is her lifestyle. She happens to be a lady with a very kind heart

She is a lover of God, and she never jokes with church services, she's one of the best friend a person could ever dream of.

Another individual I will like to meet in person is a friend with the username @swaylee.

@swaylee happens to be another devoted, consistent and dedicated steemian.

I have been noticing him for some time now,and I must confess that he is really doing great in the steemit platform.

WHAT I ADMIRE ABOUT HIM

There are numerous things I admire about @swaylee, here are just a few;

• HIS KNOWLEDGE ON CRYPTOCURRENCY:
  I was drawn to this friend of mine when I saw how much information he posseses about blockchain technology.

Although he did not really participate in all season of the crypto academy due to some limitations, but he writes like one of the steemit crypto academy professors.

From my last discussion with him, I discovered that in the last seven days, he has been visited three times by steemcurator05 account, just for his crypto related post.

• HIS HIGH INTELLIGENCE:

His intellectual ability is something I admire a lot.
Here's a link to his post that talks about technical analysis indicator on binance, from this post, it is obvious that it's author is of high intelligence.

• HIS CONSISTENCY:
  Despite the absence of the crypto academy, @swaylee has always remained active, continuously making quality content on steemit.

WHY I WANT TO MEET HIM

The reason I want to meet him is not far-fetched, I want to learn from him. I believe I have a lot of things to learn from him.

CONCLUSION

Now, I fully understand the statement that says "show me your friend and I will tell you who you are"

The relationship I shared with @ladyofpolicy has really helped me a lot in the steemit platform.
After she made a promotion flyer which we used in promoting steems, she also encouraged me to do the same.

Indeed the kind of friends one keeps greatly influences the kind of person that individual will be.
