There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you! MAYA ANGELOU
You know, it's very easy to forget facts, but stories are right there always to be remembered.
This is the story of friends, April and Melody, who went to school together and, to this day, still meet up. Today was just one of those days that the two joined each other for coffee. This time it was at April’s home.
As the two were sitting down in the lounge, April looked with envy at Melody’s hands.
“Oh wow! Your nails look stunning! Where did you have it done?” April asked
“You should know by now.” Her friend answered.
"Melody, did you do that? I mean, did you actually travel that far just to get your pedicure and manicure done?” A shocked April asked.
“Oh yes, I did. Turbo Touches are the best for me. I can't afford to spend hours elsewhere and not meet my expectations.”
“Wow, how impressive! If you were to run an ad for them, I think you'd do so well.” April said it with a smile.
“I'm not done yet; wait till I unfold all that happened in there for you. Maybe then you will join me next week. While waiting for my turn, I was offered some pancakes and a soft drink while the television was giving me the best movie of the week. I'd relaxed as though I were at home, almost wanting to doze off, and I immediately got a tap on my shoulder and said, "Hello, ma'am, we are ready to serve you." April, have you ever been given such a nice treat?" I think the answer is no, so just get ready to join me down to Turbo Touches for your pedicure by the weekend."
“Umh… since I'm so inquisitive, I want to know what the pancake was made of and what the taste was.” April told her friend with big eyes.
"April, the pancakes were sumptuous. It tasted so good that I had to ask what ingredients it was made of, and guess what? It was a pancake mix. But, don’t you worry, I branched to a mini-mart close by on my way back and bought the pancake mix, so girl, we've got some pancakes to make!” Melody told her friend.
April immediately got out of her chair.
“Oh, Melody, I am craving pancakes already. Let's go to the kitchen. I can't wait to try out this new pancake mix; I'm sure it will be good. But I won't forget to add my pepper and onions; you know, that's what makes the Nigerian pancakes different and unique!”
"Go girl, I love it that way! The one Turbo touches served me wasn't as sweet as the Nigerian pancake." Melody stood up to join her friend.
As the two were sitting at the coffee table enjoying their pancakes and coffee, April said, "Melody! I have a new game you would love to try; it's called "Ncho. My dad taught me how to play the game; I promise you would love it."
"I never knew you were a game freak, wow! Please, let's go ahead with this game. I love trying new things.” An anxious Melody answered.
After some hours of fun, April walked Melody to the door as she left for her home.
She decided to go to the kitchen and prepare her dinner of rice and beans because it was getting late. She had everything ready, which helped her cook quickly. She didn't spend so much time in the kitchen, and the food was ready.
"Oh my God! What's this?" She shouted. April didn't see what it was because she had no lights on in her bathroom. She ran out like a crazy person and was screaming, “Help me! Help me! Help me!”
Tony, her brother, heard her voice and came close to know what was happening with her. On seeing Tony, April pointed to the bathroom, and Tony went in straight to look around.
“It's a scorpion! OMG, this is big; how did it get into your bathroom?” Tony asked.
"What! A scorpion in my bathroom? How?” A disgusted April asked.
"It's one of those unexpected shocks at dawn,” replied Tony with a smile on his face as he carefully picked the scorpion up and took it outside.
April was so nervous that she did not continue with the bath. She just ate her dinner and went to bed, leaving all the lights on in her house.
When she was lying in bed she remembered Melody and her beautiful nails. She could not help but burst out laughing. She could see Melody yelling and jumping up and down. She wondered how many of those nails would still have been intact.
It was with a smile on her face that she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

You've publish a fun story between two friends and I enjoyed reading. The characters April and Melody are two lovely friends who likes each other. From your post I've read that melody travel afar to make her nails and it impressed April that she asked to confirm fi melody really travel such distance to make her nails, she answered very happily yes with a good reason, I can't afford to spend hours elsewhere and not meet my expectations.” melody is just like others girl who loves the best for themselves, she needed a well designed nails and i believe she was really happy especially with the treatment she received. Your overall story is fun and wish you all the best of luck..🤗🤗

Wooow. Beautiful story piece you’ve made out of those pictures. When I saw the pictures I was just curious to see how you would link all together and I must say that you did amazingly well putting those pieces together. I actually enjoyed reading through.
Talk of scorpions, I hate those creatures. One actually bit my friend in my house one day she came around to sleep. The trauma we went through that night and the pain my friend passed through with that poisonous bite wasn’t funny. We literally had to go in search of a hospital for her to get an anti retro viral injection that night because she was throwing tantrums that was like from here to the sky and who would blame her. We found the culprit that turned a good night into a night mare and it was a big black scorpion in my house. That scene happened over 10 years ago but it’s still fresh like yesterday. Glad the girl in your story wasn’t hurt by the scorpion. They are disgusting creatures indeed.
Heheh, I’ve written up a storm. 🌝
