SEC-S7:W2 – Schedule of my special celebrations of 2023

Introduction

Hello fellow steemias, happy to have you on my blog once again.

Right from last year I have my 2023 plans mapped out properly to enable me achieve every plans successfully at the appropriate time by the special grace of God.

God so help me this year I have series of programmes I would love to share with you.

• January
  There was new year celebration on the first day of the year which was only a week after Christmas celebration. So after these festive season, I decided rest for the whole month while I concentrate at work before the subsequent months.

• February
  February 14th is globally known as valentine's day which is lovers' day in Nigeria whereby couple go for dates and spend time lovey-dovey.
  Well, my partner is not around but we will make it memorable through phone calls and video chats though we share love all the time without waiting for valentine's day...you know I just wanna flow with the season.

As a Christian, lent starts on 22nd February in preparation for Easter and I will be in church to observe the Ash Wednesday as I journey into lent by God's grace.

• March
  On March 19th will be Mothering Sunday where mothers hold a special thanksgiving service in honour of motherhood.

• April
  Finally Easter is here beginning with Good Friday on the 7th and I will be in church as commemoration of the passion of Christ and all his words on the cross of Calvary.

Saturday 08th Holy Saturday though I have nothing must to do than preparing for the next day.

Sunday 09th is the resurrection morning and I'll be in church for thanksgiving celebration for Christ that has died for my sins over 2,000 years ago.

Monday 10th is ascension service and all churches in my city will converge at the city square to celebrate and commemorate Christ ascension into heaven*

April 27th and 29th
My April is full of activities and celebration. My immediate elder brother's traditional and church wedding are slated for these dates respectively. We will be bringing in new family member as a new wife and I'm super excited about it.

• May
  This is my best month of every year. Guess what?
  It's my birth month 💃💃💃
  I never get tired of celebrating every May 19th in my life.
  So many of my age mates are dead and gone, some are battling one sick or the other. So I have every reason to thank God and celebrate.

Again I will be moving into my new apartment in May and I will be holding a warm house party with my closest friends and family to pray for the new house.

• June, July, August, September and October

I have no special celebration in these months but will be attending friend's and family weddings which the dates are not fixed yet but will subsequently share with you in my subsequent articles in the future.

• November
  November 11th is the day I will never forget as I commemorate my mother's demise. Her death will be 28 years on November 11th 2023. This date has always brought tears to my eyes and makes me dull because I was deprived of mother's love at a very tender age as she died when I was just a toddler.

12th November
Luckily my partner's birthday is on the 12th which always shakes me off my gloomy moment.
This year even though he will still not be close by due to his work, I plan on making it memorable for me though I'm still thinking of what to do as the month is still far, you can give me your opinion 😆.

• December
  We all know Christmas is December but there is something more interesting. 😆💃😆💃😆
  My long awaited wedding is finally set for December 2023 with the most amazing man on earth. It's going to be a small and quiet wedding which is what I want. You will be duly communicated about it.

December 25th
That will be Christmas day and I will be celebrating my first Christmas in my husband's house...new experience I am anticipating to enjoy to the fullest because he will be leaving immediately after new year celebration. So I want every of our moments together count.

December 27th
My best friend's wedding is coming after mine and you won't understand how happy I am. Her wedding gives me more joy than mine and I can't wait to challenge her on the dance floor.

Conclusion

I am dedicating this whole year and my plans into God's hands for His will to be perfected. His protection and provisions for all the programmes laid on ground to be successful to the glory of God.
