Steemit Engagement Challenge: My Steemit friends that I want to meet "Ebad" by @patjewell

Okay, we are not to write about CR’s or community moderators in general so that put a spanner in the wheel as I am sure that plenty of us would have liked to meet with the mysterious 01!

Still I cannot help to wonder if 01 is male or female. Is 01 from the north, the east, the south or the west? I’m sure you’ve got some questions that you would like to add. One thing I can assure you of is that 01 is NOT from South Africa.

Anyway, let me get back to my post.

Since my return to the Steemit platform I have met so many new friends, male and female and the best part they all come from the north, the east, the south and the west.

I have opened the doors of my home to each one of them something I have never done on social media. I don’t publish my family photos on social media platforms let alone my own face. Since the beginning of this challenge I must have seen 50+ post and replies with my name and my photo and I came to the realization that I love Steemit and I LOVE each one of you from 6 of the 7 continents from the world.

Just know that in my heart I have met all of you!

As for now I want to introduce you to a very special friend of mine; Ebad from Pakistan.

To get to Ebad I must go through his mom @sualeha who is a MOD in the Steemkids community. So mommy, this is for Ebad and not for you.

How I met Ebad

Ebad lives with his parents, a younger brother and sister in Pakistan.

I got to know Ebad through some of the posts his mom posted. From the first post I saw this little boy and his proud face it caught my attention and since then I am a keen Ebad supporter.

What I admire about Ebad

Kids are close to my heart. My mom was a house mom at an orphanage for many years hence the fact that we, her own kids, literally have numerous brothers and sisters scattered all over the world.

Kids formed a very important role in how we were brought up and formed.

What I admire about Ebad is that he is so unspoiled. The love and values of his family is clearly to be seen in him.
I always thought that I admire Ebad for the most beautiful handcraft items he makes with his mommy just to discover lately that he is also a keen cook.
His recipe for potato smiles won me some brownie points with my family.

Anyways, who would not like a man who can cook?

I want to meet Ebad because…

We share one thing in common… we both LOVE cricket! My ideal meeting will be us attending a cricket match between South African and Pakistan. The cherry on the cake will be if the match is to be played in South Africa and of course, if South Africa as the winning team.

What I want to tell Ebad

Ebad, you’ve got so many things going right for you. You have a family that loves you and a keen admirer all the way from South Africa.

• Always look after your brother and sister
• Don’t let the bullies in live get you down
• Always be the unspoiled boy you are right now
• Keep on making those handicrafts
• Keep on cooking and
• Never stop playing cricket!
