The Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 5 weeek 3 is here and this is my entry for the theme of this week's topic from this community.

Dear Diary,

It's great joy at heart that I want to share my day with you. The day is Saturday 29th October, 2022. I had incredible moments which I had like to share with this entire community as my entry for the Diary game with Steem Venezuela.

MORNING HOURS

It was a brilliant morning, opening up my whine red curtains there she was smiling at me, the sun I meant. I could already tell that it was going to be another day to remember, exactly how I wanted to start my morning. Since I do not have to go to work today I decided to start the day by checking my fishing traps after my morning personal hygiene routine. Never would I have thought it would make my day even brighter.

As we reached moved closer to the traps, I could see my uncle all bright and glowing. Indeed he needed to be when he noticed we had a great catch. I am sure you would scream wow! too. Yes, with the level of the flood reducing after its damages, we had the opportunity to drop traps in strategic positions the previous day. When we finally got to the trap and raised it, behold here is the result.

I am sure, I got my Wow! We took them home and fit them into the fish pond in our backyard with smiling faces. Indeed the day couldn't have started better than this.

After putting the fish we caught into the pond, I found myself in the bathroom, where else could I have gone if not to wash up? Stepping out of the bathroom, I was welcomed into the living room by the sweet savour of the breakfast on the dining table, it was breakfast time and it is Plantain (Banana) porridge and pepper soup. yummy! right.

by the end of breakfast, the day has already stepped into noon.

AFTERNOON HOURS

The afternoon started with a needed rest from eating our stomachs full. After the needed rest, it was time to carry out maintenance on our Bicycles.

In my last Diary, I told you how we had bike rides in turns on my nephew's Bicycle. In the course of riding, the back tire tube was punctured so, it needed Fixing. In the process of fixing our bike tube, our neighbours brought their bikes also in need of our help.

And we had to fix theirs too, as there was enough love to go around. The maintenance work didn't come as planned, thus, taking much of our minutes and welcoming us into the evenings.

EVENING/NIGHT HOURS

Bored with fulfilling my daily life chores, I inferred to go for a walk in the evening to abut little memories and fun to my tedious day. The delicate breeze turned the weather cool and charming. It was such a relaxing moment, but then everything changed when I came across a snake just by the side of the road, in a flash, everything turned horror for me. I called out to those nearby so we could kill it, which we did.

As shocked as I was, I must say the rest people around weren't, as it is believed they also seek shelter from the flood. After the incident, I went home straight as I was still in shock.

With the night came the most peaceful period of the day; everything became calm as a dutiful day finally came to an end. The power generator was put on, and while everyone gathered to television, I was busy coming up with an article inside my room. Finally, I said goodbye to Saturday 29th at 11 P.M and went to bed, knowing I need be early for Church the next morning.

It was a work-filled day that started on an exciting note, a very exciting one I must say. I must say, I was traumatised by the sight of the snake. I am more than happy to know it was taken care of. Dear Diary, it's on this note I call it a day.

The diary game #thediarygame is an interesting part of steemit, That encourages original and exclusive content on the blockchain. This encourages users to write detailed sequence of events in a day, who we are, and what we feel and do in the day. I have participated in a few myself that people like @Dahsolexy even consider me to be good at it.

I can not say it's my best or favourite steemit activity and but I seem to like the concept of it, it is a capsule for those who love storytelling to talk about what they do, the places they go and how they spent their day, not forgetting the captured memories. Well, everything contains my essence.
