Encouraging creativity: Let's make origami! Create Paper Glasses through Folding only by @steemdoctor1

Hello everybody.

Welcome to this post. I hope that all of you will be happy and enjoying your good health with the grace and blessings of Almighty God. Today, I am here to present my participation post in the Steem Venezuela community that is actually my participation in the Steemit Engagement Contest Week 4 and the topic of discussion for today is Encouraging Creativity. So, let's start the task without any waste of time.

The task for this contest is actually to create a creative image or figure from a plain paper without the use of any scissors or any other instrument. So, I will make a Glasses with the help of plain paper. Remember we have to make it without using any instrument so I will make Glasses by folding the paper in various steps. These steps are shown below.

Step No. 01

First of all, take a small page. The recommended size for the paper is 20cm x 30cm. Match the two opposite corners of the paper that are exactly a large distance from each other. Match the edges and fold the paper properly. This step is shown in the below pictures.

Step No. 02

Now, a Penta cornered figure will be developed. We have to match the two corners that are at the largest distance from each other. So, we will join the exactly opposite corners of the figure and fold the paper properly. The resulting figure would be a tetra-cornered figure. This step is shown in the below screenshot.

Step No. 03

Now, reopen the paper fully, you would be able to see a clear lining on the paper. In this step, we have to join the other corners except those that we have folded in Step 1. So, join the paper and do proper folding. The resulting figure would be another Penta-cornered form. This step is shown in the below image.

Step No. 04

Then, fold the paper so that the bottom of the paper is reduced to half, leaving behind two triangular figures at the top. This step is clearly shown by the lines in the below picture. So, have a look at the below picture in this regard.

Step No. 05

Now, again fold the bottom of the newly-formed figure so that the bottom reduced to another half. This step is also clearly shown in through lines in the below picture.

Step No. 06

Again, we have to reduce the bottom of the figure last time by folding it again. Thus, we would be able to obtain three-layered folding as a bottom and two triangular figures as the top of the figure overall. Also, press the layers properly so that the pattern would be clear. Have a look at the below picture in this regard.

Step No. 07

It is time to modify the tops of the figure. So, we have to fold the tips of both triangular tops in such a way that the right and left triangles would be seen as equal. Press and hold the folding properly. Have a look on the below pictures to understand more about this step.

Step No. 08

This is the last step of our task. In this step, we have to fold the bottom layered part of the figure. First, fold the right layered part and then the left layered part in such a way they are equal and seem to be that part of the glasses that is placed over our ears. Also, press these folding proper to develop a proper figure. These steps are shown in the below pictures.

At last, our main product, paper Glasses are ready. Have a look on the below pictures that are showing our result. I have used the red color paper and the resulting paper glasses are red, in fact, hehe.

My Experience In Creating This Paper Glasses

Honestly, I have utilized the paper for creating creative figures very first time. I have never used paper for creating such creative figures before and my this experience was super amazing. I have enjoyed every step playing with the paper and every step gave me a different idea but I have to adopt the correct one.

Moreover, I have seen these paper glasses in my childhood but I do not make them by my own ever. I only utilized my 15 minutes in creating these paper glasses. There were other many figures that were coming to my mind to create but I have selected the Paper Glasses among them. Now, I will use these glasses whenever I went outside to protect sun rays, xD.
