Hope you all are good and doing well. I'm here late for participation in Steemit Engagement Challenge S5/W6, The public roads of my city. I made this post yesterday but due to net issues couldn't posted and forgotten to post on time. I would like to invite @sualeha, @kunwal and @faran-nabeel for the contest.

For this contest I'm sharing longest road of my city Karachi that is Shahrah-e-Faisal. This road is 18 km or 11mil long and approximately 250000 cars or vehicles passe daily over this road. It's one end is star gate near Jinnah terminal Airport while other is metropole hotel at central Karachi.

I don't know when and why this road was constructed. I'm seeing this road as it is from my childhood. It's old name was Drig Road. As it's 18km long so many different areas connected with road. At its east end it goes to Airport while its west end connected to the central Karachi.

On this road many famous buildings and places if city are located. PAF air base, PAF auditorium, Areena Club, FTC, Habib Bank plaza are some examples.

Mostly offices, main government city buildings, many 4-5 start hotels, two ammuzment pakr, PAF base, neavy offices, many educational institute are connected through these road.

My husband goes daily through this road to his work. When I was in college, I used to went through this road one of the busiest road of city.

There are numbers of sign boards over both sides of road through which city government earns huge amounts of money annually. On this road solar-powered street lights. Thousands of big trees are there in the middle and at some part of this road on both sides of road.

At this time Karachi's road are in very bad condition, traveling becomes hectic due to demaged road but this road is still smooth and maintained, so this huge traffic reached to their destination on time and easily.

I have great memories with this road because I with my friends went to college through this road and I know many stops from where we can go to different areas.
