Have you ever had to deal with arrogant people?

Yes I have faced arrogant people many times in my life. In my childhood my father was a very law abiding and very honest government officer.

At that time government officers were paid very less salary and being honest he did not have any extra income. So my family lived on a limited income.

Other officers and their children in our colony used to show off their arrogance due to their riches and used to make fun of our simplicity and poverty. But in those days I did not understand this at all. I and my siblings used to swallow the insult.

Is it necessary that we behave arrogantly on some occasions?

Some people unnecessarily show off their wealth or their position and often do not miss any chance to show off on some occasions.

Maybe they get some pleasure from it. But I never have any support with those who show off their wealth, pomp and show. This show-off or useless behaviour is like teasing others, and this increases the risk of social animosity.

If a person behaves in a vain manner in any function, then even if no one says anything to him in front of him due to his status, but as soon as the other person turns his back, he has to face criticism. But such arrogant people consider these criticisms as their fame.

Do you believe that the problem behind arrogance is insecurity?

Perhaps it would be correct to say that whenever a person shows off his arrogance excessively, the reason behind it is the feeling of insecurity hidden in his mentality.

In fact, psychologists or scholars who understand the human mind say that whenever a person is showing off his arrogance, in reality he is trying to hide his own feelings and trying to show himself superior and richer than others, unsuccessfully or successfully.

But this is his misconception, because nobody cares much about someone's wealth or status.

I like simplicity in my life, I do not believe in any show-off.

It is said that some people hide a lot of ego through their excessive humility. Do you agree with this statement?

There are two types of people in the world, one type of people are naturally humble, and this is their natural nature, so they do not need to show it off.

But the other type of person wears a cloak of artificial humility to hide his ego or to show a special feature in his personality, so that people think that this person is very great who has no pride in his wealth or power.

Especially politicians, actors, and celebrities are famous for behaving like this, who spend their lives pretending to be one thing from inside and something else from outside.
