Dieffenbachia amoena is a monocot species of flowering plant in the family of Araceae. It’s native to the tropical American, commonly with certain species occurring in Mexico which is mostly cultivated as a houseplant, basically for its decorative leaves. It’s a very popular & hardy shade loving cool plant. Its leaves are very large, oblong & creamy or sometimes light yellow with deep green spots & light stripes in bands along the veins & its border.
