SEC-S7W4 – Design your “Dream Home”

I will be participating in the Engagement challenge - Design your “Dream Home” S7W4 organized by the community #Steem Venezuela. I'm excited to share my dreams of a house, with you all.

Having shelter is a basic human need. There are many people suffering without shelter to live in. I feel having a shelter to live in, is a precious gift received by god. Not everybody can have a shelter of their own, It needs lots of commitment and the right time. I had a dream to build our own house before we got married but due to our financial situation, it got postponed. My husband has a land of his own, so we dreamt to have a shelter of our own.

Therefore we planned a lot together and had several discussions with our architect. Then we made a rough layout for our dream house. We both wanted it very simple at first because maintaining a house these days costs a lot. So even if I wished for a two-story house it seems to be impossible with the current situation in the country. Building a house has become only a dream.

After becoming a family, my only dream is to have a house of our own. Whenever I see a nice house plan on social media, I save it for later use. Maybe I will be able to use those ideas one day. We had plans to build our dream house there in my husband's hometown.

_{This is our simple house plan with everything we wanted and as per our budget. We wanted easy access to every place in the house. We didn't want to block having more walls in between. We wanted it to be a relaxing place that brings peace to the mind. We also wanted fresh air and light to pass through the house. So we asked our architect to keep us closer to nature and have more green space in the house.}

Due to the economic recession living our dream is a hard task. The cost of all materials has increased badly. We have decided to hand over the task to a professional house construction team as it is stress-free and we could have the house made to the proper standard. I would like to have the best quality materials with a nice finish. It will help to enhance the outlook of the house. Also using quality materials such as bricks, cement, sand, and strong wood will make it last long without constant repair. Making the house of your dream requires attention as it is only made once. It's important to make the house with love as you will be spending the rest of your life in the house you make.

People spend more money just to live and eat. There is no chance to develop our lives. I wish I could live my dream soon, and see us achieving goals as a family.
