Babar Azam holds world record for fastest 16 ODI centuries

The year-old cricketer achieved this milestone in the 84th innings of his ODI career, Amla scored 16 centuries in 96 innings, Virat Kohli completed 16 ODI centuries in 116 innings.

April 2, 2022) Pakistan captain and brilliant batsman Babar Azam once again entered his name in the record book when he became the fastest batsman in the world to complete his 16th ODI century. ۔ Babar Azam scored a century in the third ODI against Australia in Lahore, beating South Africa's Hashim Amla in the shortest innings to score 16 ODI centuries.

The 27-year-old cricketer achieved this milestone in the 84th innings of his ODI career. Amla scored 16 centuries in 94 innings. No other batsman has scored 16 centuries in less than 100 innings. Virat Kohli is third on the list and has completed 16 ODI centuries in 110 innings.

David Warner also scored 16 centuries in 110 innings, Aaron Finch played 116 innings and scored 16 centuries.

Earlier, in the first ODI of the three-match series, Babar became the fastest Asian batsman to complete 4,000 ODI runs. Were behind Babar had earlier scored his 14th century in the 81st innings and the 13th in the 76th innings, both of which were the fastest for the respective order numbers.
