قومی ٹیم کا شاندار سفر بڑی سکرین پر نشر کیا گیا۔ چیئرمین پی سی بی رمیز راجہ نے ویڈیو میں پاکستان کرکٹ کی تاریخ بیان کی۔ دستاویزی فلم میں شروع سے اب تک عظیم کھلاڑیوں اور سپر اسٹارز کی شاندار کارکردگی کو اجاگر کیا گیا ہے۔ دستاویزی فلم کے بعد شاندار پیرا گلائیڈنگ پریڈ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ پیرا گلائیڈرز نے 5000 فٹ کی بلندی سے غوطہ لگایا اور تماشائیوں کی تالیوں سے اسٹیڈیم میں اترے۔

ڈی آئی جی سیکیورٹی اینڈ ایمرجنسی سروسز ڈویژن کے ترجمان کے مطابق جمعرات سے شروع ہونے والے پی ایس ایل 7 کے سلسلے میں سیکیورٹی ڈویژن کی جانب سے جامع سیکیورٹی پلان ترتیب دیا گیا ہے۔ مجموعی طور پر 5650 پولیس اہلکار سیکیورٹی پر تعینات ہوں گے جن میں 1200 ایس ایس یو کمانڈوز بھی شامل ہیں۔ سیکیورٹی ڈویژن 1700، ٹریفک پولیس 1500، اسپیشل برانچ 500، ریپڈ ریسپانس فورس 250، سندھ رینجرز کے جوان اور سیکیورٹی اہلکار نیشنل اسٹیڈیم، کراچی ایئرپورٹ، روٹس، پریکٹس گراؤنڈز، پارکنگ پوائنٹس، ہوٹلز اور دیگر مختلف مقامات پر ڈیوٹی پر مامور ہیں۔ دے گا
کمانڈ اینڈ کنٹرول بس اسٹیڈیم کے اطراف امن و امان کی نگرانی کے لیے نیشنل اسٹیڈیم کی اہم تنصیبات پر ماہر اسنائپرز بھی تعینات کیے جائیں گے جب کہ ٹیموں کی نقل و حرکت کے دوران فضائی نگرانی بھی کی جائے گی۔ مسلح کمانڈوز بشمول لیڈی کمانڈوز پر مشتمل سپیشل ویپنز اینڈ ٹیکٹکس (SWT) ٹیم کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لیے SSU ہیڈ کوارٹرز میں الرٹ رہے گی۔ اسے کھلا رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔
