Hi, Steemit Community!

It's undeniable that sounds are able to generate a determined state of mind and that listening to certain types of music can be a relaxing experience, or not. Our brains are wired for music. Music also alters the brain structure and function on a genetic and molecular level, enhancing genes activity involved in dopamine secretion, transport synaptic function, learning abilities, memory, as well as down-regulating genes that can be associated with neurodegenerative diseases. The wonderful thing about all this is that we can listen to music as often as we like and it can be therapeutical in levels we never imagined.

This Friday I spent most of my day and night in the studio composing a new sound immersion. I used the same instruments, the Roland JP 8000, and Ableton Live for the Binaural Beats but this time the whole creative process was different.

Marta a dear friend that works with light projected onto the wall, and uses numerous random glass objects, crafted some loops with her analog gear while listening to a couple of sound frequencies I shared. I fell in love with one of those loops, so I decided to make a sound immersion soundtrack for it. Sound and light are a perfect abstract match for some liquid archetypal architecture.

While composing I like to work in layers. Layers of sound and layers of activity. I was having a hard time finding a sound that was hunting me and wasn't able to tweak it out of JP 8000, so I considered turning on another synth. But the sound in my head was human voice textured.

Neuroacoustics: The Healing Power of Sound

For more than 20 years, Dr. Thompson has been exploring neuroacoustics and the therapeutic application of sound. His researches have led to the development of precise protocols for using sound to modulate brainwave patterns, affect sympathetic-parasympathetic balance, and synchronize the activity of the right and left brain hemispheres. He has applied these methods in stress reduction, cardiovascular disease prevention, management of depression, and a host of other conditions.

Dr. Thompson is the director of the Center for Neuroacoustic Research in San Diego, and his work with neuroacoustics is quite different from other forms of therapy that use sound and musical sound.

It is not about facilitating a patient’s musical self-expression, nor does it use music as a palliative. It involves direct application of specific sound combinations—unique to each patient, but precise and measurable—to entrain beneficial physiologic responses.

When working with patients, Dr. Thompson’s first finds specific resonant frequencies that affect shifts in autonomic activity and brainwave patterning of the individual.

He does this by recording the patient’s own voice, and then playing it back in a slow sweep from very low to very high frequencies, while the patient is lying on a specially designed sound table. The table contains transducers able to produce low-frequency sound vibrations in the range of 20-500 Hz. The sound table delivers sound not only to the ears but to the spinal column, muscles, and skeletal elements as well.

Having Dr. Thompson work in mind I grabbed an old microphone and recorded my voice. To my surprise, while paying attention to the Ableton tuner I noticed that if my body relaxes my voice lowers and resonates in my belly, and because of the effect of tonality that entails harmonic progressions in one direction, my voice tones were perfectly pitched with the 432 Hz as reference. I believe I heard my 'real' voice for the first time 😜

Also before sleeping while listening to the result, I had the most intriguing experience ever. Binaural and sound immersion meditations are a part of my routine for many years, but this was a first time ever. I had the most bizarre lucid dreaming, physical sensations of warmth and deep cold, ASMR tingles on various parts of my body, vivid imagery with physical sensations and alien-like visions. It was somewhat a mixed feeling of deep comfort and discomfort. It felt like love meets shadow work.

All I can say is that I will pay more attention and make a deeper research about Dr. Jeffrey Thompson work 👇

432 HZ BINAURAL BEATS | THETA TO DELTA WAVES | DEEP RESTORATIVE SLEEP

Maybe I will change the name of this track, because it was more Lucid Dreaming then Deep Restorative Sleep, ahaha!

So, this Track features 432 HZ Solfeggio Frequency for releasing emotional blockages and aligning you with the heartbeat of the Universe, and with your Human nature.... or at best chillax.

BINAURAL BEATS

The Binaural Beats on this track go from Theta Waves for focus on deep mental and physical relaxation, to Delta Waves for entraining the brain for deep meditation and deep restorative sleep. Both 432 Hz and Binaural Theta waves increase intuition.

➪ Theta Pattern: (4 to 8 Hz) range is linked to REM sleep, reduced anxiety, relaxation, as well as meditative and creative states.

➪ Delta pattern: Binaural beats in delta pattern operate at a frequency of 0.5–4 Hz with links to a dreamless sleep.

Use 🎧 when listening to Binaural Beats. They will not work unless you use headphones. It's important to avoid using binaural beats therapy while undertaking tasks that require alertness and full attention, such as driving, or if you suffer from seizures, if you have a pacemaker or other heart condition.

If you enjoy my sound immersion meditations, the best way to support what I do here is to simply subscribe to the YouTube channel by pressing the red button Indra's Net YouTube channel, like this video and comment if you wish!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy being surrounded by these frequencies.
All feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Cheers 🙃
