Today I did the first stress training of my Dj Short blueberry. I make a simple but strong loop knot around the plant about 2/3rds of the way up. Then I carefully pulled the plant down & then fashioned the rope in place. Over the next few days; I will continue to slowly pull the plant stem down. The leaves will flatten out horizontally.

Stress training will strengthen the plant & help it stay healthy.

You can already see the plant starting to adjust towards the light. Stress training gives more light to the lower leaves and evens out where the lights hit. Tall plants receive less light than a tied down plant.
