Week 2 curation report as steemcurator05

The journey so far has been interesting because of the forward movement of things. I cannot say that I expected anything close to what I'm experiencing on the steem block chain. It's beyond explanation. The current team are doing a great Job that makes things work fine for most of us handling a minut portion of the affair bestowed.

This is the second week of handling the @steemcurator05 account doing some curations especially in the new community named steem africa. The journey is blessed with faithful and commited members who has been doing a wonderful job posting good contents and inviting other. It's been a marvelous experience.

My curation journey

The journey is not long at all. Last week, it was moving from one community to another, but the traffic on steem africa gives no room to shuttle. Though, few post were curated from other communities, it wasn't intentional, they caught my attention with their quality piece.

How I voted

My voting sense is a bit good if I won't hype myself. Last week, I hardly vote below $1 on contents except comments, but this week was a bit different. I was so much occupied that I used the @steemcurator account voting power below 75% as there were more posts to vote. The more I tried to regulate, the more new people keeps joining, therefore making everything a bit challenging, however, it's not beyond control.

Reward summary

Because of the influx, I reduced the percentage of votes a little. This week was 419.13 curation SP, with author reward of 1.58SP @0.34 SBD. I noticed, that I have more reaction from comments because of the way I give reply maybe. The voting CSI was 5.91 (0.00% self, 138 upvotes on 44 accounts). This figure gave me more insight on something I will work on in the last two weeks remaining. I learn every week, and that's one thing I'm happy about.Users should not be surprised when I start digging deep.

Activities so far

I've been creating contests after another. Thanks to steemcurator01 and @steemitblog for their support. The steem Africa community also see a drastic spontaneous acceleration in terms of the number of subscribers that rose from 22 to 75. I also created an avenue where all Africans on this community would have a representative from their respective countries.

For more than 74 days now, there has been a lot of contests on the steem blockchain by @ steemitblog. If you've not been following, you have to key in now. It's fun.
