Greetings diarists, hope you are well.Today being a Saturday I usually want to spend it home doing my chores and catching up with my kids unless I do have some birthday, weddings or other events to attend.
myself❤
I woke up at 8am. did my 30min stretch after I went to prepare myself, had breakfast and then I did general cleaning for my up my room.from arranging the shoes to clothes to bags.it was coming to noon when I was all done and exhausted but I had to prepare lunch for my family.
I prepared peas,rice and pumpkin.
the food i prepared
It took one and a half hours to get ready and by 2 we had our lunch.
Most Saturdays when I choose to stay home I usually give my helper some hours off and I get to do most of the work.
I later went to attend my nephews birthday. He was making a year.
It was great seeing how he had grown since I last saw him when he had just been born.wow, he had become an awesome happy boy, kids grow so fast that we don't realise when they are growing because we are busy chasing money.
I found when they had finished eating and they were preparing to cut the cake.so many things are done early because of carfew in my country so by 9pm everyone wants to be at their homes.
The birthday boy cut the cake with the parents, served the guests and everyone had the chance to tell the birthday boy what they wish for him as they were presenting their gifts to him.

The parents thanked the guests for coming to celebrate with them and wished all a safe journey.we stayed for an hour before leaving while catching up.
It took me almost 3hours to reach home because their was to much traffic jam,its like between 8-9pm because its rush hour and everyone is trying to make it home before carfew time.
Well,i finally got home safe and tired, took a cup of tea and went on to bed smiling that tomorrow is sunday not monday.
Tilll then.........

Is it even African enough if you dares cook own lunch when you headed out for a party? I mean, we've been taught enough on how to feed maximally on a party... kidding thou. The kid's name would be a nightmare for some communities here in my country to mention, the R & L confusion.

Thats why i went late because they were to have lunch early...woo..its sad to learn that there are some african communities that still believe that some names are bad en shouldnt be given to their kids more so christian names.
Nevertheless,thanks for passing by @murathe
