THE DIARY GAME : 10/09/2020 - 2nd POST- LAND LEASING & PREPARATIONS

in hive-194804 •  4 years ago

So this is my second entry to the game, I know the chance I stands to win on the leader-board pos is close to zero seeing that the game is way beyond new as per my participation but again if the comments were to judge, I'd still stand a chance to win.

Few weeks off the town to a friend's rural place

Times been hard in the other side of the world as evidenced in the whole world and this forced me to take a leave lucky enough to a friend's place in the deeper rural areas. The ride was so long, more than 8 hrs done on a rough road thou you can call this a road trip with no exact return day or even a group of friends.

We rode not on horses but an amazing tour van (sad it never occurred to me to take a photo) and you can guess how fan the car was, from the inside comfy to the last hill it crawled.

Getting down to business

We started by preparing the land suitable for furloughing, easy for a tractor to move around with it's fist buried deep onto the ground. We had to clear the bushes and so on and later on we did what we might have been told not to by our agriculture related courses teachers, " AVOID BURNING THE VEGETATION COVER", we did it thou bit justifiable due to the large pests covering the area and was bit risky to assume they'd not come back to haunt us after planting.

Don't blame us, times are hard to risk several thousands into the soils in times like this to just leave the rodents get away with their intended 'murder' plans.

Sorry, no tractor on sight

In a span of few minutes, the machine had already eaten better part of what was previously a bushy zone and to be honest, I didn't take a picture of the tractor as am the kind of person who'll literary respect peoples privacy when they says no to pictures of their creations/items.

My day?

Yeah, it's mine since am leaving it, no, like living it I meant.

That was a better part of my day, if only I wasn't camera shy I'd have shown you the dirt in my hands after the whole process.

The end of my day was marked by checking myself in to the Andela based training in partnership with Plurasight for the project practice period and yeah, wrote a few lines and as I await the good news of progressing to the next level - I'll be her to engage with you in your game posts too.

Thank you for reading along, am here to stay. Someone reached out to me on discord and dropped a piece of advice to state why am powering down to avoid misleading people with my silence if am a leaving steemit or not.

AM NOT. But just like any other hustle, I had to support my internet subscription and seeing that all I had was directed towards land leasing, preparation and other to follow events, my little steem would help cover some of this with hopes times will get better and I'll be back on my steem power feet.

I imagine how much fun the trip was in that truck.
Please follow the recommendations of your agriculture teacher, " AVOID BURNING THE VEGETATION COVER".
