Greetings to you all I Salim greet all colleagues in steemit it's been an exciting time spent in steemit I hope everyone is good by the grace of God. On today's diary I would like to enlighten you on my errand today. First of all, I was woken up early on 4:00 o'clock a.m to prepare for my departure to the bus station, I perform ablution since I am a Muslim after performing ablution I head out quickly to the mosque to pray which is 2 miles away from the house. By the time I have returned from the mosque, it was almost 4:34 am my sisters had already swept the house. I took my breakfast then quickly dressed up to hit the road for the bus station. By 5:00am I have already taken my bath. I left to the bus station because, I was sent there to collect some packages sent for our hometown which is Wa (Upper West ) region. This packages where; Tomatoes , Engine Oils

I waited for about 2 to 3 hours, they were where late because I heard there was a road block at Offinso because the police where looking for some bad people. They waited for the search to be complete. After sometime, they finally arrived exactly on 9:00 am. I brought the packages with one of the taxi drivers around there.
By the time I arrived, my sisters had already prepared some food. They prepared konkonta and some Ayoyo soup.
This is my today's diary. I hope you like it.
Tomatoes have become very expensive and it was a wise decision by buying them in bulk from Wa as things are incredibly cheaper over there.
Wouldn't they go bad during transport from such a long distance? What are some of the preservation strategies put in place to prevent such food items from going bad?
